Today Simbin released a new patch to fix the loby problem, get it in the download section under GTR 2 mods.

Formula 1 : GTR2 Loby is DOWN!!!

You all probably know this, but very basically 10Tacle/Blimey who hosted the lobby went backrupt and now the domain names have expired thus making the lobby of both GTL and GTR2 non-functional. We have tried for several weeks to gain control of the domains and get things back on track, but it's not gone to plan and we are honestly getting tired of chasing around those who snatched up the domains. So currently we are seriously considering a small patch for GTL as well as for GTR2 (and maby GTR1 to avoid any future mishaps) but when the programmers can be pulled off their various projects to create such a patch I can't even begin to speculate. Could be a week, could be a month, could be a day or could be a decade. All I can say is that it's a high priority issue for us. So.. the lobby will get back to full functionality at some point, but until then the temporary fix is a pretty good alternative. If you have no objections could I post your tool on our official website to get it spread quickly ? And since I'm an anti-tech type guy I have to ask if it will work for anyone or are special instructions needed? No good in me posting it on our site if nobody can figure out how to make it work Wink Mikkel
